Kriss Webb, President of Rouse Hill Club and her father came to our meeting last week.  She spoke about membership and had some interesting ideas.

 

Josh and James Nowiczewski also joined us and James suggested we utilise podcasting our speakers – something we’ll definitely consider.  Josh is our 2018 exchange student to Finland and it is great that he can join us from time-to-time.  

 

Ana was not with us as she had exams.  If you have something interesting you are doing consider taking Ana along.  School holidays are coming up although she will be in Melbourne for 25 September to 3 October.

Don’t forget if you are going out for a meal consider going to Grill’d at Macquarie Centre as they have made us one of their charities for the month.  You simply place the token they give you in our jar and depending on the support we get we will be given some money.  Let friends and neighbours know as well.

 

We welcome David back today, as long as the jet lag hasn’t got him.  It will be soooo good to have him back.

Today the Principals from the local schools we support will be telling us what they have achieved and plan to do.  We also have the opportunity to give them a cheque to help with their work in educating the children of the area, including some of our members’ children.

 

I made a mistake with the program.  3 November will be a visit by the District Governor so the session on the Rotary Foundation will shift to early next year.
