I have long thought, and often said, that many of our best times with speakers occur when our own members speak, and that belief was confirmed last Friday. Binoe shared  a brief account of his eventful life, beginning in Kerala, then Kolkata, before moving on through the Middle East to Australia. He confirmed for us our impression of him as a thoughtful and interesting person. Then when Shankar thanked him on our behalf it emerged that there are several remarkable parallels between their lives.

Our IT Week is almost upon us, and everything seems to be falling into place. The week’s program is out and looks good. Don’t miss the Thursday evening dinner if you can possibly make it. That’s when all of us can get to hear the student’s impressions of their week.
