A great night of Trivia on the 7th March. Some questions were so trivial no one got the correct answer. Some questions were so trivial everyone got the correct answer!
We had great support from all club members in delivering a riotous evening of fun and prizes. With a few late injuries we needed everybody to step up and step up they did. Thanks to all members for making the night a success.
Numbers were down a little from last year. For next year we should try to broaden the market beyond Rotary and see if we can get more support from the broader community. Some suggestions are: approach John Chappels congregation and the Catholic church, promotional posters at the North Ryde shops, direct approaches to local P&C’s. We need to have a plan in place before November. It is difficult to promote ahead of the Christmas/New year time period but some early work on a plan could bring results.
We raised $4,770 towards our youth programs, allowing us to continue supporting youth for another year.
