Every child at Moree East Public School received two books in Term 1 to start their home libraries as part of the Books in Homes project.
Turramurra Rotary combined with the Rotary Clubs of Chatswood/Roseville, North Ryde, Wahroonga and West Pennant Hills to raise over $12,000 for this wonderful project. Rotary Districts 9685 and 9650 supported the project with grants totalling $6,500. Books in Homes continues throughout this year.

The Clubs all sold Christmas cakes and puddings to raise the funds. It was agreat effort and shows what combining with other clubs can achieve.
