With just over one month to go until the Carols on the Common, the Committee is very busy preparing for the event. The sponsorships, entertainment, rides and stalls have been finalised.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help on the day of the event, once again, we have had a great response from club members and the community.
We are still still seeking help from friends of our club to assist with the many volunteer tasks that need to be undertaken on the day and during the evening of the Carols.
We particularly need strong, able people to help with the setting up and packing up phases of the event. The more helpers we have the quicker this can be done. If you cannot help with this the heavier tasks, there are a number of other tasks that may suit you better.
Please look at the tasks below and consider volunteering your time for one or more of these tasks.
These tasks include:
- Morning set up from10am-12pm
- Top car park assisting with directing cars and collecting payments: 3-10pm
- Bottom Car Park assisting with directing cars and collecting payments: 3-10pm
- Bucket Collection: 8.00pm
- Event Pack up: 9pm-12am ( the more people we have for this the earlier we can finish)
- Raffle ticket sales during the event: 4-9pm
